Successful completion of this course requires:

1. Return of all Homeworks (there will be 4/5 across the semester, due approximately two weeks after distribution) - 1/3 of the final vote.
Homework 1: distributed Feb. 6th, due back Feb. 20th;
Homework 2: distributed March 3rd, due March 14th;
Homework 3: distributed March 26th, due April 9th;
Homework 4: distributed April 16th, due April 30th;

2. Completion of an assignment which consists of choosing a paper from a refereed journal dealing with a Radiative Process problem; provide a 3-5 pages write-up on the paper, highliting and discussing the topic relevant to this course (Paper chosen at the beginning of April; critique due back approximately at the end of April) - 1/3 of the final vote.

3. Final exam - 1/3 of the final vote.
