REDSHIFT SEARCH RECEIVER

MMIC Based Preamplifiers

  • Each pixel is comprised of two MMIC amplifiers as used in SEQUOIA, with interstage and input isolators.
  • Amplifiers of different designs are cascaded to minimize gain ripple (105LN1PQ and 100LN8).
  • Ripple in the noise is due to interaction with the input isolator.
