Helioseismology has proved to be a very powerful tool in the study of the Sun. This technique has allowed us to study the structure and dynamics of the Sun in exquisite detail. The current focus of the field is to study the changes that take place in the Sun as the solar activity cycle progresses. I shall discuss some of the recent results in this field obtained by the solar physics group at Yale. I shall also discuss how some of these techniques are being adapted to be able to study other stars.
