1. Astronomy Colloquium Report
• Attend one of the colloquium talks this semester(FCAD Astronomy Colloquium schedule). The most relevant talks are by M. Reid (9/10), R. Chandar (9/17), P. Myers (10/8), and S. Oey (10/22).
• Write a 2-page report summarizing: (1) the motivating idea; (2) astrophysical principles used to address the main questions; and (3) conclusions of the study.
