Welcome to the Orchard Hill ObservatoryThe Orchard Hill Observatory is UMass Amherst's premier optical observatory. It is located on the highest point on the UMass campus and is home to a 16-inch Cassegrain telescope. The observatory is used for research, events, and also for the famous open observatory nights. NOW OPEN FOR THE SPRING 2008 SEMESTER
The Observatory opens for the Spring 2008 Semester on February 7, 2008!
The hours are 8:00 - 10:00 PM.
