Archived Events

In addition to hosting the weekly open house viewing nights

every Thursday, the observatory is the host to significant

astronomical events throughout the academic year.

Here are some of the archived pages of past events

December Meteor Shower Watch held December 14th 2006. Highest attendance

rate of any event held at the Orchard Hill Observatory

March Lunar Eclipse The event was scheduled for March 3rd 2007 but got

cancelled due to clouds. Several students did show up

and were treated to a glimpse of the moon through the clouds
