"The evolution of galaxies in groups"

Most galaxies in the Universe live in groups, and it is now acknowledged
that the evolution of galaxies crucially depends on its local environment.
I will present results from two multiwavelength (X-ray, optical, radio)
observational studies of nearby groups of galaxies, designed to study the
physics of the group environment and to identify the important factors
that influence galaxy evolution.
